About Youth Security

Youth security means ensuring that young people not only survive, but have the freedom, support, and opportunity to thrive. It involves protecting children and adolescents from violence, exploitation, poverty, and neglect, while also investing in their education, mental health, and future leadership. At Human Security United, we believe that securing the well-being of youth is essential to building just and peaceful societies. We support programs that uplift youth voices, expand access to resources, and challenge the systems that criminalize or marginalize them. Youth security is about creating a world where every young person—regardless of background—can dream, grow, and lead.
